In the Works

I've written for a long time. I still have these adorable little story books I made as a kid, where I drew out the entire story and there weren't any words. My favorite involves a nice seal lady, a cool crab, and a punk fisher kid. It's quite...interesting.
So now, my more *ahem* modern works in progress. I hope you fall in love with my story ideas that I REALLY want to finish but probably will never get around to it. It breaks my heart, too.

Oooh, sorry, I'm really bad at writing these summary things. But you get the gist, right?

Moon Child

In progress

My baby. The first science fiction novel I've ever attempted.
Rumia Larson was always seen as...odd.
But this didn't stop her parents, the glorious Martian soil transporters, from leaving her to be the sole caretaker of her four younger siblings. That was the normal part of Rumia's life, actually.
An innocent trip to the market changes her life from ordinary to anything but.
A story of mystery, lost old beginnings and rebellious new ones.

The Damsel Game

In progress

One of my dream ideas. (Meaning I dream something and get a story idea from it.)
A small, unknown town, transformed by a giant arcade resort. The hit? The game Damsel.
For four friends, it's all fun and games until something strange happens. The antagonist of the game - the Beast - comes to life from his mechanical beginnings. Then it becomes win or lose, life or death.

Unbroken, Unbreakable

Finished for NaNoWriMo (Rough First Draft)

A young woman - raised by her father to be his legacy, to travel to distant worlds in his memory. A new planet, discovered. As her team of leading astronauts, scientists, and exo-anthropologists explore the new world, they are caught up in a society ruled by regulations - and no exceptions.

The City of Lost Souls

In progress

She dreamt of a boy, a boy named Hue with eyes all the colors of the rainbow. But the wastes of Underland are far too great and dark to ever find him. And then, in an instant, a city of stories and near forgotten tales appears.
The City of Lost Souls.

The Auction House

Finished for Write Out of This World

For a local short story contest hosted by the EMP.
The old, the dying, the forsaken. All they wanted was to be able to enjoy a young, rich life again.
The young, the bright, the joyous. They had no idea what was coming.
They didn't know the truth. If they did, how could they enjoy life to the fullest? How could they make these powerful memories?
But one girl did.
And she wanted to stop it all.

A Season of Discord

In Progress

Farof - a once peaceful world, balanced in nature and spirit. But a petty feud erupts between the seasons, and soon the land is divided by war. Four representatives, after seeing what the war and division does to the land, work together to bring Farof back to its original peace.

Darkest

Finished for NaNoWriMo (Rough first draft)

And The Stars Sang

Finished for Write Out of This World

Afterglow

Unfinished for Camp NaNo April 2017

An innocent camping trip leads to the disappearance of a young woman. Two months later, strange things begin to happen. Three comrades try to bring back their friend, but at what expense? (Yeah I'm crap at writing summaries so sorry)

Gods and Men

In planning for Camp NaNo July 2017 (never finished)

A Mesopotamian colony is hidden underground by a protective god, only to be discovered centuries later, without having aged a day. Hadrian's royal Roman army takes a few citizens of the city back to Rome, to study them and hopefully assimilate them into "modern" culture. But one girl discovers something strange: the same gods who she worshipped in her time appear again on walls, in temples - but the names have changed. (This is very much so a work in progress. I don't entirely have a plot yet :/)

Dreamers/You Are Dreaming (working titles)

Goal hit, but half-written for Camp NaNo July 2017 (in lieu of Gods and Men)

(Untitled)

In progress

Shale, a poor man's son, working for the Guard. His friend, Dugan, the blubbering oaf. A ghost girl. Antics ensue. (I have no idea what's going to happen yet, and I don't feel like writing out what I do have.)
